Youth Program

The NCA youth program is designed and executed in a player development environment through the US Soccer's Grassroots program.  Players train in an academy style setting, which incorporates multiple teams of similar age and skill working on building the foundational skills of soccer together.  Within this academy setting, players are broken up and put into environments where they will be able to get the most time with the ball in order to master the fundamental skills, principals and methods that that the NCA coaching staff is implementing.

Youth Teams (U11-14)

Thelo United registers all youth teams in the OYSA Fall and Spring seasons.  Teams are placed in divisions based on previous season results and with a goal that will challenge teams for development.

During the summer, teams compete in 1-3 tournaments within the local area, these tournaments are decided by the coach and is based on availability of the team.

The Fall season starts the weekend after Labor day and runs through the end of October.  At the conclusion of the fall season the team will be placed in either the OYSA Presidents Cup or Founders Cup.

During the winter many youth teams enter futsal leagues and compete during one of the two seasons.

Spring practices will resume mid to late January with games starting the last week of February or first week of March.  There are no games the weekends before or after Oregon Schools Spring Break, with the season concluding at the end of April.
