What do these fees cover?
Thelo’s soccer program is a year round soccer program that begins in June.
Teams will train in June, July and August and will participate in summer tournaments. During the fall season, September through November teams will participate in the OYSA Timbers/Thorns Youth League. Teams will participate in end of season tournaments sanctioned by OYSA that can run to the end of November and potentially complete at the beginning of the Spring season. Teams will regroup in February to start the spring season and compete in the OYSA Timbers/Thorns Youth League Spring.
· Twice weekly trainings established by coaching staff
· End of season OYSA sanctioned tournament in the fall
· Facility rentals
· Administrative costs: OYSA Fall and Spring league fees, league players card, players insurance.
Are any fees refundable?
When a player accepts a position on a team, all fees are due and considered non-refundable. Any potential refunds are at the discretion of the Thelo board.
What is not covered by these fees?
· Uniform kits
· Summer Tournaments
· Travel expenses for league games
· Indoor or futsal leagues
Is there financial aid available?
Thelo offers a limited amount of scholarships to players who are in need. There is an application process (The scholarship application can be found on the Thelo Website):
· Scholarship players must have all scholarship paperwork submitted by June 1. These will be reviewed by the TUF board and approved/declined by June 15th.
· All required information MUST be included to be considered. You will find a checklist at the bottom of the scholarship form.
· All submissions postmarked after June 1 will be declined
